If you decide to sell, you will be guided through the sale process, from transportation to marketing, by a specialist in the type of item you have — be it a watch or a classic car — who will advise on the most suitable auction to achieve the best possible result. There are no upfront charges: once your item is sold, sellers pay a commission on the sale price, a loss and damage warranty charge (1.5% of the hammer price per lot), a £15 online listing charge per item and photography fees as appropriate.
