Collection
Our offices are open Monday to Friday, 9am – 5.30pm, for collections in person, up to 5 working days after the auction date. We encourage you to make an appointment for collection of items. We are closed on bank holidays and weekends.
Lots will not be released until they have been paid for in full. Items not removed within 5 working days of the sale will be removed by a carrier to storage, with the buyer responsible for all charges; lots remaining uncollected after 30 days incur a fee of £5 per day.
Shipping
Unfortunately, Duke’s are unable to offer a postal or delivery service, and as we do not have packing facilities we are unable to pack your lots for collection by your chosen shipper or carrier. If you arrange your own transport, please ensure the company you employ understands they will also be responsible for packing the items. The cost of shipping or despatch must be paid directly to the shipping company concerned, and written authorisation from the purchaser is required before we can release goods to a shipper.
We are pleased to recommend reputable carriers for smaller parcels, larger shipments and local deliveries within Dorset — please contact us for details, or for advice on air freight and other forms of despatch.
Export and CITES
